Maxim Grigoriev (creative pseudonym Maks Galiaf), was born in Sverdlovsk in the Urals in 1974. He was born into a family of artists (stone artists), grandfather Egor Sysolyatin was a blacksmith and jeweler, his brother Alexander Sysolyatin was a miner and miniaturist - better known as the Ural "Lefty". In 1989, Maxim entered SHPTU-42, studied the specialty: Jeweler-fitter, enrolled in training with one of the honored masters of jewelers: Basmanov Nikolai Ivanovich. And despite the "modest" program of disciplines, the master taught the so-called "old school of masters" and demanded much more than the training standards required. In 1991, Maxim graduated from the college and entered under the leadership of Yuri Grigoriev - he was accepted for the position of "jeweler". the creative path has begun - a long one in life ... In 1995 he gets a job as a junior researcher in the "laboratory of HOM" at the Department of Physics.tech at UPI (Sverdlovsk - now Yekaterinburg), the head of the laboratory at that time was Asfan Kanifulovich Hismatulin (who later became the head of the Department of Jewelry Art at UGAKH - Yekaterinburg). Working in the laboratory , Maxim created his own creative world , then a miniature : a mosquito made of silver with wings made of the thinnest topaz plates - refracting iridescent light - creating the illusion of an amazing miniature - accessible to the naked eye , then he performed sketches and drawings , and later modeling from wax and metal, artistic volume carving from stone ... and after that: ready-made jewelry, objects and sculptures. In those distant years, many interesting projects were created by a novice master at that time - in 1996. he passed the atestation according to the profile "jewelry designer artist" with the assignment of the 13th category according to the results of the atestation. And after finishing his work at the department, Maxim leaves and creates his creative project "Lefty jewelry studio" , participates as a sponsor in beauty contests - creating crowns, helmets and tiaras for beauty contests. Many ideas have been implemented and have not seen the light to this day , but the artist leads the way of his creative path overcoming difficulties and obstacles - goes to his dream of making his contribution to the history of Russian jewelry art . In 2003, Maxim was elected to the post of chairman of the Union of artists and craftsmen "ART + M", in addition to jewelry, Maxim enthusiastically creates works of fine art, working in the technique of graphics - sometimes in a watercolor manner, and sometimes paints in oil: it all depends on what inspires the creation of works. And every day this growth is a search for new solutions and revolutionary ideas in art , sometimes not recognized today - and after several years of oblivion , they attract with their loud , new and unbroken . Maxim creates sketches , products , jewelry and works of art - both at the behest of the soul and by order .Collaborated with many teams and masters - participating in joint projects and ideas . But , as the artist himself says , there is an insurmountable wall of misunderstanding and the lack of foresight and courage of many : it does not allow you to create something that is conceived - something that should become beautiful works of art. Many have gone to the mass market and the stream, alas, but time dictates this path and for this reason it comes to create a simplified, accessible to most, but nevertheless: grace, charm, luxury and beauty Under the pressure of a huge desire - To create high-level jewelry Maxim launches a new project - jewelry design studio "MAKS GALIAF", based on LLC "MONISTO"...Maxim had to buy this company - after all , this is the only way to create what he had in mind - to go to the dream irrevocably and irrefutably .
