Senior Geological Engineer

Job Requirement: Senior Geological Engineer

Location: Africa (long-term assignment abroad)

Nationality preference: Ukrainian

Languages: Fluent English (spoken & written)

Minimum Requirements:

• Education: Master’s or higher degree in Geology, Geological Engineering, or related field.

• Experience: 10–15 years of proven professional experience in geological engineering, mining, or large-scale exploration projects.

• International Mobility: Willingness to relocate and work abroad (Africa).

• Technical Proficiency:

• Geological mapping, surveying, and modeling.

• Core drilling programs, sampling, and assay analysis.

• Mineral resource evaluation, ore reserve estimation, and feasibility studies.

• Strong knowledge of mining geology, structural geology, and hydrogeology.

• Proficiency in geological and mining software (e.g., Surpac, Datamine, Micromine, Leapfrog, AutoCAD).

• Understanding of geotechnical assessments, slope stability, and mine planning integration.

• Leadership & Management:

• Ability to lead multidisciplinary teams on-site.

• Strong reporting and documentation skills.

• Experience collaborating with international EPC, mining, and exploration companies.

• Other Skills:

• Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities.

• High adaptability and resilience in remote working conditions.
